The Loom is a creative design studio and consultancy focused on exploring and advancing the power of word, idea, expression, design, science & technology, together with their correlation and positive impact on improving business and society.

A creative foundry, working collaboratively with clients to deliver design solutions applied to their business needs. Applying intelligence and experience to help clients communicate and reinforce their brand values, both internally and to the market.

Experienced in developing brand, engaging content and storytelling, the studio employs state-of-the-art hardware and software to develop creative solutions across 2D and 3D visualisation, motion design, editing, vfx and product design.
A creative oracle, focusing on the strategic, philosophical and ethical application of design. The focus is on helping business relate to understand and integrate design thinking and the design process in order to enhance market position and the relationship with end users.

There are also other key considerations in applying good design thinking and practice to human-centred communications and product, including accessibility, sustainability, the cultural spectrum and inclusivity.
In Autumn 2024, The Loom Design Studio (collaborating with The John Peel Centre for Creative Arts), designed, authored and co-curated an exhibition celebrating the legendary record producer and sound engineer, Glyn Johns, displayed at JPC's Suffolk venue.

Music and arts house Books On The Rise of Richmond-upon-Thames kindly hosted the exhibition at their premises during autumn 2025, opening with a keynote talk by Glyn Johns himself, and wrapping several weeks later with a talk by renowned producer Joe Boyd.

Talks are now underway to stage the exhibition in the stunning Art-Deco De La Warr Pavilion, Bexhill-on-Sea later in 2026.
